Zeta Zeta of DKE

Zeta Zeta of DKE was

chartered January 30, 1858

at Centenary College of

Louisiana, in Jackson,

Louisiana, as the second

fraternity on campus.

Centenary and Zeta Zeta

were both inactive during

the Civil War, but the

chapter remained so until

April 7, 1923, when it was

revived at Louisiana State

University, in Baton Rouge,

Louisiana.

The Friars Club, a local

society, petitioned 14 years

for the revival, and

members of Zeta Zeta, in

testament of this continuing

endeavor, are permitted to

wear the Friars' pin in

addition to the standard DKE

badge.
