Phi Deke Nolan Becker signed a professional contract with the Cincinnati Reds earlier this month. Becker was drafted in the 11th round, and will enter the Reds' farm system immediately.

Nolan is a left-handed pitcher, and finished his junior season in spectacular fashion, striking out 16 in only 7 innings in a win against Brown on the final day of the season.
