DKEsgiving

University of Chicago

11/22/2008

The brothers of the Delta Delta chapter at the University of Chicago would like to extend to you a warm season's greeting, as well as an invitation to celebrate the season with us. This November 22nd, we will be holding the 20th annual Delta Delta DKEsgiving, and we would welcome the company of any and all Chicago area DKE alumni.

Since the re-founding of the chapter in 1989, the brothers have gathered every year the weekend before thanksgiving to celebrate 'DKEsgiving.' Each year, every active pledge class prepares a dish for the meal, be it mashed potatoes or turducken.  This year, as a celebration of the 20th anniversary of our re-founding, the Delta Delta chapter has decided to open our DKEsgiving celebration to any and all Chicago area alumni of Delta Kappa Epsilon who would like to join us. Accordingly, every active pledge class of the Delta Delta chapter, in addition to the active pledge classes from several other Midwestern chapters, will each be preparing a full thanksgiving meal for everyone to enjoy. Come celebrate the season with us, and join in the revelry of a brotherhood to which you gave so much.

DKEsgiving will be held on November 22nd from 5pm-9pm in McCormick Tribune lounge in the Reynolds Club on the University of Chicago campus located at 1212 E 59th St. If you would like to attend, please RSVP with Brother Pawan Patel at
PawanPPatel@gmail.com so that we will be sure to expect you. However, if you fail to RSVP, and find yourself on November 22nd with nothing to do, we would still appreciate your company. You are of course welcome to bring any food or drink you'd like to add. We also encourage you to invite any other dekes who may not have seen this message. If you cannot make it to DKEsgiving, please look forward to continued correspondence as the Delta Delta chapter continues its work with DKE international to build the Chicago alumni base. We look forward to celebrating DKEsgiving with you.

In the bonds,

Neal Idnani
