Delta Kappa Epsilon Statement Regarding Michigan State Chapter Alleged Misconduct

EAST LANSING, MI—We have recently learned of allegations of misconduct by members of our Sigma Kappa Chapter at Michigan State University. We don’t have complete details, but take the health and safety of members and guests seriously.

Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity has placed the Chapter on interim suspension and shared information with the University. We encourage all members to cooperate with investigations and we will hold accountable anyone found responsible for misconduct.

“The alleged misconduct simply has no place in our Fraternity, and is in direct conflict with the values of Delta Kappa Epsilon, stated Doug Lanpher, DKE Executive Director.”

We encourage all survivors to use all reporting options and resources available to them as they see fit. Survivors with a relationship with Michigan State University may reach out to MSU’s Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) by calling 517-353-3922, filling out this form, and/or the Michigan State University Police Department at 517-355-2221.
