Brother Emergency Support

The wellbeing, health, and safety of our members is always our top priority.

Delta Kappa Epsilon is committed to keeping the bonds of brotherhood tight amongst our members, which includes our commitment that no Deke is to go without a safe place to live or nutritious meals.

Please complete the form below if you would like to provide temporary housing assistance, or your ability to reliably have access to housing and meals has been impacted by COVID-19, such as:

  • Campus directives unexpectedly closing collegiate housing
  • Alternative housing in a high risk area (such as New York City)
  • Restricted access to the dining hall or other campus based food services
  • Temporary loss of employment with a non-essential business, such as the service industry, or
  • A similar situation caused by COVID-19

Once the form is completed, we will contact you within 24 hours to connect you with all the available resources, including a network of local stakeholders.

It is our intent that this emergency response effort be used as temporary aid until more long term solutions are in place through personal or government intervention. Please check www.dke.org/covid for more up to date information regarding aid resources under the Contact and Support tab.

Should you have any questions regarding this form, or would like to support DKE’s Emergency Response effort, please contact DKE’s Director of Alumni Services Turner Spears at turner@dke.org or (865) 438-4739.

If you would like to make a financial commitment to the Emergency Fund for DKE to purchase grocery gift cards for impacted undergraduates, click the button below to be taken to a secure donation page.

Delta Kappa Epsilon is only facilitating a process to connect people to undergraduate members in need of assistance. Delta Kappa Epsilon and all of its affiliated partners are not responsible for any problem arising from this process. Those providing housing assistance do so at their own risk. Delta Kappa Epsilon and its affiliated partners do not make any claims about the character of any of its members, and does not run background checks.

Please consider the above information guidelines and recommendations. Note, however, these are not directives. Each organization is a separate legal entity, independently operated, and ultimately responsible for making the decisions which it believes are in its best interest.
