The Founding of Chi
The Chi Associate Chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon was originally founded at the University of Mississippi in 1850. The group most recently returned to campus in 2018.
- Chi has doubled in size since their return to campus in 2018
- In the fall of 2020, members of Chi moved back into their on-campus residence
Philanthropy and Service
The Chi Associate Chapter works with Camp Kamassa, part of the Mississippi’s Toughest Kids Foundation. The camp is in the process of being built and members of Chi were able to raise nearly $2,000 to donate during their fall Chipotle fundraising event.
Awards and Recognition
- Chi was recognized for having the most improved GPA among all of the fraternities on campus in the spring of 2020
- Chi placed first place in Alpha Phi’s Red Dress Run in 2020. They also placed first place in Delta Delta Delta’s Pie Your President competition.
